Roget Silvercloud idly munches on an apple, collecting the seeds along the way.
Yumi Delvalle: Noting the familiar clothes and form of the person upon the bench, Yumi hurried over. And, grabbing a fallen branch from the boughs of the tree, she took the twig and began to make it dance across the man’s shoulder.
Roget Silvercloud squeeeks! He starts to bat at the intruding branches with his fingers, rather ineffectually. “Hai, hai! Back, back! My apple!”
Yumi Delvalle chuckled and tossed the stick behind her, the sound of it landing barely audible. “Well, greetings to you as well, sir”, her voice sounded out as she curved about the bench and gave a small bow at her waist to the man.
Roget Silvercloud blink-blinks, looking to her and following. He bobs his head semiformally to her. “Hallo, M’lady rangeress.”
Yumi Delvalle tipped her head and soon brought up a single finger to tap against her chin. Did he not recognize her? It had been some time, an as Yumi thought about it more, she could not remember if the last time they saw each other she wore more feminine clothing or not. “I am pleased to see that your health still remains in tact. No visits to the elder world as of late I hope?”
Roget Silvercloud nods a little. He digs about in his haori for a knife and slices off a goodly part to offer to her. “I am well. Re-learning my own arts.. and you? I recall just yesterday M’lady Talula said she’d not seen you in a while..?”
Yumi Delvalle gratefully took the slice of apple in hand and bit at it as she nodded slowly. After swallowing, she produced a smile and sighed, her arms reaching out in front of her as she stretched. “Glad to hear that…. And I am well also. It has been far too long, but I travel about often. It is good to b back though, I must admit”, she replied with a soft tone, soon taking another bite into the fruit.
Roget Silvercloud nods a bit and smiles as he munches. “Would you join me a moment and enjoy the breeze? Or are you on the way to some-where? I shan’t keep you..”
Yumi Delvalle chuckled to his words, and turned to sit upon the bench. “Resting my tired legs would be most appreciated. I thank you for the offer”, she said as she removed her staff and tilted it, letting it lean against the side of the bench. “Might I ask how Lady Talula fares? I do miss her…”
Roget Silvercloud bobs his head again. He digs about in his haori to produce… another apple, which he sets aside next to her. “For you. She’s well.. affairs of state apparently occupy much of her time unfortunately.. she’s become quite influential… but I think she tires of them.”
Yumi Delvalle: “Ah”, she voiced after giving a nod of thanks to Roget for the apple. She smiled and took a hearty bite, the sudden burst of juices making her eyes grow wide for a moment. “Well, Lady Talula was meant for great and influential things. I am glad she does well… Though I hope she does not grow too weary of them.”
Roget Silvercloud nods a little, then grins at Yumi’s reaction to the well-picked ripeness. “Great things, indeed. We should waylay her, feed her food and insist she sit with us under the stars and enjoy moonrise, hm?” He gives Yumi a rogueish wink, playful in nature.
Yumi Delvalle laughed aloud at his words. She nodded excitedly as her laughter trailed to a quiet hum of chuckles, both hands wrapped about the succulent fruit as she held it so near to her face. “Indeed. I wonder if she has changed much. Oftentimes, the life of one who must make decisions not only for themselves, but for others as well, is a life full of conflict and change…”, she said softly now before another bite was taken from the apple.
Roget Silvercloud nod-nods. “So true. It’s something I enjoy.. so I’ll admit some vanity there.. I slept two nights under the apple tree for the right moment to pick that apple!” He wriggles a finger towards Yumi’s fruit.
Yumi Delvalle smiled towards him, lifting the apple again to her lips. However, she soon blinked once as he pointed to the apple, and she quickly brought it away from her mouth. She must have looked so odd, mouth open, teeth just grazing the surface of the apple for another bite just as he spoke those words. “Well”, she said, pursing her lips and breathing deeply through her nostrils, “I must say that I feel guilty for eating this now. Would you like it back?”
Roget Silvercloud chuckles softly and shakes his head. “No, no.. I’m enjoying you enjoying it altogether too much.” He smiles, waving the last bit of his own apple a little.
Yumi Delvalle gave a shrug and smiled her thanks, teeth finally digging deep into the juicy flesh of the fruit. “It is a wonderful pick indeed. Thank you for allowing me to devour such a thing”, she said to him between bites, fingers moving quickly to turn the apple about in order that she may not miss any delicious piece. She must have been extremely hungry. In fact, Yumi could not remember the last time she had much to eat at all.
Roget Silvercloud watches her eat a moment as he finishes his own bit, hint of a smile on his lips. “You’re welcome. Careful though.. save the seeds!”
Yumi Delvalle: “Oh! Of course”, she replied, a small smile on her lips as she finished the last of the apple, leaving the core in tact. “I shall let you take care of the seeds. It has been far too long since I have done any gardening. That is, assuming you wish to plant these?”
Roget Silvercloud nods a bit and digs about for a cloth, offering to accept the core therein. “Oh yes.. and sometimes barter with the Fae for information.”
Yumi Delvalle now quirked a brow, her head tipping in curiosity. “Truly? The Fae beings will exchange information for such a thing?” she asked, both brows lifted now.
Roget Silvercloud nods again. From his haori he produces a knife and carefully plucks out the seeds to add to his own pile. “Indeed. Some at least.. those better connected to the Land. It is subtle though, and takes art to learn things about their attitude and life..”
Yumi Delvalle smiled and gave a slow nod. “I can imagine that is so… Some of the Fae are deeply rooted to the Earth and what it produces, but I have not shared company of that sort of being in quite some time. Most that I see are concerned with ‘pretties’ or ‘shinies’ as they call them. Anything of metal or stone that sparkles in their eyes…”
Roget Silvercloud finishes the de-seeding and offers back the core. “Do you wish the rest?”
Yumi Delvalle rolled her shoulders up into a small shrug and smiled, taking the rest of the core in her gloved hand. “Thank you”, she said as she began to nibble on the remaining fruit.
Roget Silvercloud returns the smile. He sets chin on knee and gazes to her. “Shinies. Ech. What might motivate you, M’lady? Rangeress and all, I can see you roaming forests on the hunt and sleeping under the stars..”
Yumi Delvalle > The stem was all that was left of the apple as Yumi finished the fruit. She twirled the stem in between two fingers slowly, then nodded. “Yes. That is most of what occupies my time. I like being so close to Nature, and allowing it to give me what I need. I have not been inside of a structure of man-made means in many moons”, she replied with a light-hearted chuckle.
Roget Silvercloud nods a little. “It took me much time.. since we last met–not the ah, best of circumstances! -grimaces a bit- But I’ve finally come to grips with this Land’s Nature. I’m finding it appealing now that I finally appreciate its balance.”
Yumi Delvalle smiled, a small chuckle forming from her mouth as she nodded to him. “It does take some time to become used to, but if you let it, it will guide you.”, she said in response, then stretched her legs out straight, a loud popping sound carrying from her ankles as she rolled them about.
Roget Silvercloud smiles. “Indeed. It’s been a long time since I was able to relax.” He glances to her booted feet, eyebrow arched. “I hope that didn’t hurt..”
Yumi Delvalle blinked, then tilted her head down, eyes falling on her foot as did his own. “Ah, all is well. Simply cracking the bones. They become stiff after long runs through the forests and lengthy moments of trying to keep all movement halted”, she said, grinning as she stopped stretching and let her feet dangle over the bench. A sigh spilled from her lips, and she glanced about. “It is a lovely day. Good to see no wars are being held within the lands for the time being…”
Roget Silvercloud chuckles softly. ” ‘being held’. I like that.” He offers the Mer a smile and nods. “Hallo, M’lady.”
Yumi Delvalle let a small chuckle come from her as well before her eyes would lift to the lady. She dipped her head in greeting and smiled kindly, her feet still swaying ever-so-gently under the bench she sat upon.
Calypso Levee walked hip-swaying towards the two people that seemed humans. She was smiling sweetly, her amethyst eyes half-closed as they slowly shifted between the two. She stopped and rested her weight on one foot , her palm slided at her waist to caress its skin softly. In her melodic sweet voice she said “Greetings both. How are you?”
Roget Silvercloud bobs his head. “I’m well, thank you for inquiring. If I may offer.. I am Roget, and the lady lovely here M’lady Yumi. Well-met.” He smiles.
Yumi Delvalle > Her smile grew slightly as the woman spoke, and she nodded slowly. “Quite well myself. And how do you fare, Lady?”, she asked in return, her eyes now moving from one person to the next as they all began conversation.
Calypso Levee slowly glided her right foot backwards on the ground, her torso lowering as she bowed her head, her dark-brown straight locks caressing her breasts .”I am Calypso, very nice to meet you both.” slowly her foot returned to its normal position and she straightened up to look at the lady’s brown eyes with hers “I am very well, especially now that there is some friendly company for me” she said sweetly.
Roget Silvercloud rises, gesturing to the bench as he plops down with a little ‘whuff’ on the ground. “Friendly indeed.. would you join us a moment?”
Yumi Delvalle gave a nod, her head dipping again as the lady bowed. She soon sat upright, her smile still painted over her lips as she watched Roget. Tucking her knees close to her body now, Yumi was sure to make room for the lady, even though the woman was very thin.
Calypso Levee chuckles, her palm on her chest as she did and walked hip-swaying to the bench, where she sat squating and looked between the two, her amethyst eyes setting on the man’s “Why did you sit down?” cocking her head to side.
Roget Silvercloud smiles a bit to Calypso. “If I may beg an indulgence from the ladies, it’s from here I can best admire you both.”
Yumi Delvalle smiled at the woman as she sat down, and she uncurled her her legs, letting her feet once more dangle from the edge of the bench. She then laughed at Roget’s statement, and shook her head, lifting a finger and waving it at him. “Oh my, what a punishable thing to say”, she said jokingly.
Calypso Levee half-closed her eyes as she looked at his with her plethoric lips shaping her sweet smile “For sure you can admire that lovely lady on my left, she adorns the space she is currently staying at.” she said and turned to smile in that manner to the lady too.She had a delicate sense of beauty and loved everything fine and pretty around.
Roget Silvercloud bows his head and nods, trying to look innocent. “I have indeed! But I would be remiss should I let any lady go un-attended to!”
Yumi Delvalle soon blinked at the other woman’s words, then laughed aloud. Such a silly thing to say indeed. Calming herself and shaking her head yet again, Yumi’s eyes lifted to the sky and she smiled. The night drew in. A small chill rippled through her body, making her right hand twitch abruptly.
Roget Silvercloud tilts his head, quick eye noting the rangers’ posture.
Calypso Levee smiled sweetly at the male and cocked her head, her locks caressing her shoulders as they slided .She brought her one hand at her other side, softly passing it over her pale skin , feeling its softness.
Yumi Delvalle > In the now silent atmosphere, Yumi blinked about, dark orbs adjusting to the darkness. She soon blinked again, and shifted her gaze towards Roget. “Might I inquire as to where you make rest?”, she asked, the thought of the impending night suddenly making her think of sleep. “Do you have a home now?” She then would look to the woman and smile kindly, hoping she had a place to rest as well. A pretty woman like her, it would be dangerous for her to stay out in the darkness too long.
Roget Silvercloud nods a little. “I have a small dugout of sorts near the border with Fae lands.. It suffices for now. I have needed to feel Nature more fully to further my recovery.”
Calypso Levee tilts her head to side and blinks her eyes slowly as she looks at the man “Are you injured, Roget?” she asked in a melodic, sweet soft voice.
Yumi Delvalle smiled softly as she nodded to Roget, her brow soon furrowing in response to his words. “Recovery? Has something else happened since last we have spoken?”, she asks in concern, voice quieting as the woman speaks as well.
Roget Silvercloud shakes his head a little. “Nothing further.. but.. -bites his lower lip a moment as he sort of gazes between them, far off- …it’s been difficult adapting.” He looks to Calypso. “I was torn from my planar homeland by a mages’ curse, and unceremoniously dropped here. I’ve only recently begun to re-learn Nature in this place.”
Yumi Delvalle soon calmed down and sighed with a measure of relief. She was happy that nothing too serious had befallen him. She smiled a small, somewhat sorrowing smile as Roget spoke in explanation to the fair lady.
Calypso Levee nods twice and smiles sweetly as she spoke “Very nice to hear that you are okey, at least” she said before leaning her head back and stretching it by tilting it from side to side. “I hope you will adapt soon and create a bond better than the one from your homeland.” she nodded again, half-closed eyes fixed on his.
Roget Silvercloud scratches his beard a little with his fingertips, contemplating. “Kind words, M’lady. I’m fortunate to have a few acquiantances who’ve tolerated my foibles.. it helps.” He reaches a toe to poke Yumi’s boot with his shoe, offering the rangeress a smile.
Yumi Delvalle nodding in agreement with Roget as he replied to the woman. Feeling his poke upon the toe of her boot, she blinked and grinned, eyes flashing as she kicked gently towards his own foot. Revenge!
Calypso Levee smiled sweetly as she rised and bowed her head to them “It was very nice meeting you two” she said in her melodic voice.
Roget Silvercloud rises and formally bows. “M’lady. It was an honor and pleasure.”
Yumi Delvalle blinked and lifted her gaze to thewoman. “Must you be taking leave so soon?”, she asked, her tone small and quiet, “DO you need an escort home?” Yumi’s eyes brightened as she stood as wel and took hold of her staff.
Roget Silvercloud nods a bit to Yumi then the Mer. “Indeed?”
Calypso Levee shakes her head “No,thank you though for the kind offer.” she said and smiled sweetly. She gazed over the male with half-closed as she said “Farewell, safe paths” and turned to walk away.
Roget Silvercloud: Be safe, M’lady Calypso.
Yumi Delvalle gave a curt nod once and smiled. “Safe paths to you as well”, she called out, waving a single hand as the woman left. “I hope the night is kind to her”, she then said as she turned to face Roget again.
Roget Silvercloud follows Calypso momentarily with his gaze, eyebrow arched, before returning to Yumi. “Seems confident. And you? Does the nights’ chill impose?”
Yumi Delvalle would soon glance about again as she pondered his words. “It does, but it is welcome. It does not seem to be a fearful night, and I am certain rest, when it comes, will flourish greatly”, she replied, then smiled a toothy grin. “There are still a few things to be done before I allow sleep to consume my essence for the night. You said your enclave is within Fae lands? Would you like company to walk with you there?” Yumi certainly was not sleepy enough to go to bed, but as others seemed to head away, she assumed Roget would need to as well.
Roget Silvercloud shakes his head a bit, then returns her smile. He shrugs. “I am not quite yet done for the night; a few things to idly wander about and collect. Besides, I wouldn’t want my primitive hovel to insult your sensibilities; I’m sure your skill at field-work greatly exceeds my own meagre talents.”
Yumi Delvalle blinked, her eyes growing wide just as her smile curved upwards. “My goodness, no! I am sure your ‘hovel’ is lovey. Besides, as I have said before, it has been long since I have tended the earth. And I’m sure that your resting place is lovely compared to the mere shadow of a tree that gives my own body rest. Might I ask, what are you collecting? Perhaps I could be of assistance”, she added with a smile as her chuckles died down.
Roget Silvercloud chuckles and bows his head. “Ha.. you indulge me too much with your consideration, M’lady.” He gestures vaguely behind himself and replies, “I was enaged to capture a beam of moonlight near the Fae lands.. but you have chores of your own to complete.. I wouldn’t want to impose..”
Yumi Delvalle simply shook her head, a small wave of of her hand emforcing her motions. “Not at all, Sir Roget. It would be wondrous to do something of different course for a change. And my chores are only of personal meaning, and can be done at any time, so long as the moon hangs above us. I have plently of time, I assure you”, she replied, her kind smile ever-present. She would be happy to help him, but of course, she did not wish to impose upon him either.
Roget Silvercloud clops his mouth twice, apparently a little surprised. He nods a bit, then offers a hand to rest hers thereon as a formal escort, his head tilted. “Well then.. shall we?”
Yumi Delvalle blinked at the motion he took, then smiled, giving a small shrug as she took his hand in hers and nodded. “Lead the way”, she said with excited tone in her voice, obviously thrilled to be doing something that seemed so very interesting.
Roget Silvercloud gently leads, gesturing up the hill with his free hand. “Onwards, to Fae, hm? In search of the moon.”
Roget Silvercloud points yonder to the druid circle with his free hand. This is the best spot.. where the Moon goes to settle on the sea..”
Yumi Delvalle smiled and gave a deep nod of her head, her eyes trailing over the Druid circle. So many memories here, not all of them joyous. Letting a soft sigh linger over her lips, she turned to Roget and curved her mouth upwards, smiling happily. “Thank you. I shall remember this spot..”, she said, breathing deeply as she shifted her wieght from one foot to the other. “Shall we search for your items now?”, she then asked, rather suddenly. What she needed to do was something of a more personal altitude. And though she hadsung to the moon in the company of other creatures, for another human to hear her would be cause for embarrassment. The blessing of the land would not be as strong if she were to make a mistake.
Roget Silvercloud gives her hand a bit of a brush before releasing, glances to the sky then goes “Oop!” Quickly he digs about for a reed from his haori, obviously prepared already, woven into a loose basket with a handle. “Ach, she sets. I have to hurry!”
Yumi Delvalle blinked multiple times as she watched the man hubble about. “What is it that you do?”, she asked, dark orbs searching the sky and noting that the sun was preparing to rise so quickly, so soon.
Roget Silvercloud raises his weavings and his free hand to the setting moon, softly intoning, not quite audibly. The last few rays of the settling moon seem to appear and slow, drawing into the basket as he swirls his hand abouts it. Roget Silvercloud whispers, “Capture a moonbeam.. have you ever tasted one?”
Yumi Delvalle tugged at her bottom lip with her teeth. With the position of the moon, she would need to grant it safe passage, and welcome the sun in the presence of her friend, despite her wanting not to. She smiled to his as he spoke, then shook her head. “Please, show me how..”, she said, then bit her lip again as a soft tune began to rise from her throat. A hum, soft and yet strong, a song of blessing for the earth brushing over her slightly parted lips as she watched him closely.
Roget Silvercloud keeps swirling his hand over the weaved basked, almost like stirring, little rays like fishes swirling in the basket, as he tilts his head and gazes to her. “You’ll have to forgive me, then.. they are bound to me right now. Giving may be a little forward for public sensibilities..”
Yumi Delvalle gave a nod to him and smiled as she continued to hum. Her eyes lifted to the moon, then back to the waters, where the rays danced across the glassy surface, swaying lightly back and forth with every small wave. Flowing now from her body, pouring from every vien, Yumi’s voice climbed in volume. Dark brown hues closed for a brief moment as small hands clasped together. A prayer, a song of love and hope, all for the Earth. Bidding the moon its blessings to the ground beneath it, Yumi’s song lifted for a moment, rising into crescendo, then falling back down into a slow, haunting melody. She opened her eyes, curious to what Roget did beside her, her gaze flickering back and forth as he seemed to weave something in his very lap. She smiled, the moon’s blessing having been sung, and she closed her mouth, intent now upon the man beside her and what he was doing.
Roget Silvercloud shifts on his knees to face her, swirling a finger in the weaving bowl and the silvery fish-like rays within. He looks up at her, expression challenging, and whispers, “Do you dare to taste moonlight, M’lady?” He twirls his finger out from the weaving bowl, drawing forth a silvery tendril that delicately snakes around the digit.
Yumi Delvalle now blinked, her body slowly falling to a kneel before the man. “It is beautiful..”, she replied, almost breathless as she nodded to him, “Yes, I would be honored to. But… Could it be dangerous?”
Roget Silvercloud shakes his head a little, tendril curling about like a gossamer thread, silvery and bright. He whispers, “No, no… they are delicate yet lingering like your beautiful melody, which I admit I’ve not heard the equal of.. but you must taste from my fingertip, since it will be released the moment it leaves my person. Is that all right?”
Yumi Delvalle soon sat down upon the grasses, her eyes, though dark in nature seeming to shine as the glowing thread echoed its light deep within her eyes. She gave a small nod, answering his question without words, and leaned forward, her expression curious, and slightly worried. The moon stil hung above them, the waters still dancing, and Yumi’s heart still pounded in perfect time to the song of the moon as it vibrated through her body still. She looked up to him, her brow furrowed for a moment as she leaned closer. She was nervous. Taking such a sacred piece of heaven within her could mean serious consequences, but it was somthing she wanted to experience herself. Her mouth drew closer to the swirling light about his finger, inching closer and closer, her heart wildly beating within her chest now.
Roget Silvercloud leans a bit forward, finger slowly presented to her lips; the tendril seems to reach for her from his fingertip. He softly whispers, “Part your lips.. close your eyes. Trust in natures’ bounty.” He softly hums, almost inaudible, drawing natures’ heartbeat through himself to compose a random tune in perfet time with her heart, his own breath rising a little with the closeness of the act. He offers the silky, almost electric sweetness to Yumi’s lips.
Yumi Delvalle > Eyes cautious and wide soon began to close slowly, the touch of the tendril making her breath still for a moment. She let out a deep breath and parted her lips, allowing the dancing light entrance into her mouth. Her heart rising in pace still, she closed her eyes fully, breathing heavy and filling her lungs as she felt the shivering jolt of energy push past her lips, giving her a taste of the magical wonder.
Roget Silvercloud widens his eyes a bit, hint of electric coursing through his finger to her lips as they touch, the silky ray, slithering and sweetly electric, expending itself on the girl’s plush lips to tease the senses of taste and smell; ozone, sweet butter, hint of coppery blood and freshly tilled earth. He gasps everso slightly as the tendril expends itself fully.
Yumi Delvalle almost gasped as her senses burst with the growing sensations. Chest rising and falling softly with every intake of breath, she opened her mouth further, taking in the delicate ray of moonlight into her body. She sighed, her blood coursing throughout her with a new kind of strength. The scents, the tastes, they all filled her, making her eyelashes flutter quickly, her fingers twitch uncontrollably as she took in the last bit of glowing strand from his fingertip.
Roget Silvercloud shivers just a little bit, finger twitching convulsively as he breaks the touch on her lip; it leaves a hint of the characteristic saltyness of skin. He shakes himself a little throughout and stares at her.
Yumi Delvalle > She stayed there, eyes still closed, her lips slightly parted, breath hot and heavy as her body soon began to calm, a shudder every few seconds as the electrifying sensations brought upon by the moonbeam faded, soaking into her essence. She then smiled, her eyes blinking as she slowly reopened them. Her eyes glowed for a moment, a pale colour masking her dark brown hues for a brief second in time, just before they regained their typical dark colour. She stared at him, unable to think of anything to say.
Roget Silvercloud tilts his head a bit as he meets her gaze, unblinking. He whispers everso softly. “I apologize.. it was indulgent of me. I haven’t shared that with any once since my Mentor, in the Before time.” He licks his lips a bit; nevertheless he manages to keep his other hand swirling, containing the remaning beams within, though each of lesser intensity.
Yumi Delvalle swallowed nervously and soon smiled, offering him a kind expression. “It was…” She pauses, trying to find the right words. “It was indescribable. I have never had the honor to experience that. I could feel it… I felt the very moon, searching my soul…” She then stopped, her voice lowering volume, her gaze shifting downwards to his hands as they continued to spin the dancing threads of light.
Roget Silvercloud nods a little. He follows her gaze downwards, his tone turning a bit sad as he whispers, “I fear I was distracted; my capture has grown weak. ‘Indescribable’ is a good term.. the giver feels their own.. experience.. in the moment. Each element has something to experience at the proper time.”
Yumi Delvalle blinked, but her gaze never left the workings of his hands. She heared his words, and thought on them deeply, nodding in agreement to them. She gave a soft smile, then let out a deep breath, her eyes closing briefly. She could feel her energies slowly fading. With all he had done tonight, Yumi wondered how Roget was still able to keep up his weaving of the moonbeams.
Roget Silvercloud looks over his capture, then slowly flicks fingers into the air from the bowl of the weaving; each flicker of digits casts a few fishy tendrils into the air to escape and dart away, almost like tiny meteorites. He whispers, “Off you go, little ones..” He gives a kindly, soft chuckle.
Yumi Delvalle smiled, a small chuckle escaping her lips as she watched the playful threads of light wander and float about, finding their way back home. And placing a hand upon her chest, hovering over her heart, and stood, bowing her head. Then, her eyes moved back to focus on Roget again. “Truly fascinating… I thank you greatly for this”, she whispered to him, eyes bright as she turned about in the grasses. “Though.. I fear the night was expended my energy, and I am falling fast into the grip of sleep…”
Roget Silvercloud nods a bit as he sorts the weaving back somewhere in his haori-of-holding; exactly where things end up isn’t clear. He slowly rises, extending his escort-hand again to her. “Come.”
Yumi Delvalle nodded and took his hand with gratefulness.
Roget Silvercloud gently guides, and leads with care to the simplest of lean-tos against the tree, well ordered if simple, clean, and sparse. Space just enough for three, protected from the elements. He nods. “Good. It’s safe here.”
Yumi Delvalle tried her best not to stumble as they walked, her feet grudgingly slipping across the forest floor. She soon lifted her head and smile to him, bowing deeply to him in thanks before she would plop down to the ground. She held her staff close to her, and unable to even speak anymore, she drifted away into sleep, a slight glow lingering about her parted lips with every slow breath. Strange for a ranger it was, to fall asleep so ungaurded, but her body cried out for rest, and so it ws demanded of her.
Roget Silvercloud settles down to watch her sleep a moment before retiring himself.
